2025 Hurley Regatta and Fun Day

Thank You for a Fantastic Hurley Regatta & Fun Day!!

What an incredible day we had at Hurley Regatta & Fun Day 2025! From thrilling races on the river to family fun on land, it was wonderful to see so many smiles and such a fantastic community spirit. The sunshine may have helped, but it was the people (and the pooches!) who truly made the day so special.

A huge thank you goes to all of our race participants – from the dinghies and rafts to the novelty crews and paddleboards. Your enthusiasm and sense of fun are what the regatta is really all about, just as it has been since its very first outing in 1973. Without you, there would be no regatta!

The dog show and fun dog races proved to be another real highlight, with wagging tails and happy hounds showing just as much excitement as their owners. It was a joy to see the four-legged friends of Hurley taking centre stage and delighting the crowds.

We would also like to say a very special thank you to the Hurley Regatta Committee and our volunteers, whose tireless work behind the scenes made the day possible, and to Hurley Riverside Park for generously allowing us to use their land to host the event.

The Regatta Committee would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the day. In particular, we are deeply grateful to Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice, the 1st Mortimer Scout Group, Paddleboard Maidenhead, Joey and Sarah Doyle, Dabber Scaffolding, and Martin Gowing for arranging the brilliant Steve Carroll, who treated us to a fantastic evening performance.

A big thank you also goes to our MP, Josh Reynolds, for joining us to present prizes, to the Shanly Foundation for their generous donation, and to our wonderful village supporters whose kind contributions help make the regatta possible and enable us to support our chosen charities.
